More on the Deceased Cyclist

Julien Trameaux was working in Sydney as a part-time food courier for UBEREats. He often worked the nighttime shift while hoping to earn enough money to open his own patisserie one day.

Trameaux lived in an apartment with friends, who all ran in the Sydney Marathon together last year. Close friend Leo Villaume described his late buddy as “optimistic and positive.”

Villaume added, “He was more than a friend, we were all a family and he was a brother. He was someone so determined.”

Trameaux was one of five people who died via accidents on New South Head Road in 2017.
