“Thanks to partypoker for putting their faith in The Thirst Lounge,” Perkins stated. “I am thrilled that partypoker is ‘thirsty’ to come on board and support this exciting venture with us!”
What Is the Thirst Lounge?
Perkins, a hedge fund manager who’s worth an estimated $400 million, started his stream as a way to show “thirst” for life. He now does everything from play poker to sit on his yacht in the Caribbean during streams.
The Skylar Capital hedge fund manager has expanded the concept to include “The Thirst Lounge 10.” This channel represents a mix of 10 streamers who have engaging personalities and a passion for poker.
Notable members of this group include Justin Kelly, host of The Cage and Stones LIVE; Cat Valdes, a very popular YouTuber; and poker pro Kelly Minkin.
“We work with a fun, outgoing group,” said Perkins. “It will be a pleasure to watch them grow and develop The Thirst Lounge as well as their own brands.”

One of many Big Moves by Partypoker
Partypoker has been making a number of moves in order to gain market share. Signing a sponsorship deal with The Thirst Lounge is just the latest in their efforts to continue drawing players.
Party seems to have the right idea in partnering with a group of popular Twitch streamers and YouTubers. After all, live streams and YouTube videos have become more viewed than television over the past few years.
Meanwhile, PokerStars, the world’s largest poker site, has been moving away from streaming and focusing on their casino products. They recently parted ways with Jaime Staples and Jeff Gross, who have popular Twitch channels.
